I am undeniably one of the biggest procrastinators/perfectionist on the planet. Why do it if you are not going to do it right, no? (Unless of course you have redone it until 4:30 in the a.m., have no paint left and give up. Trying in vain to salvage that precious hour of sleep you have left) I'm not speaking from experience I'm just saying. I also do not discriminate with my procrastination. AT ALL. I simply function best in the time crunch, got seven things to do in three minutes scenario. So that being said; I will try to blog regularly. Even though no one is reading this. I'm doing it for me. To keep up with E's hilarious antics, our daily life and my ill guided attempts at diy.
My 4 year old's take on the world:
E: Mommy I love you.
me: I love you too.
E: No, I mean I love you a whole lot.
me: I love you this much. (arms spread wide)
E: But, I am not getting back in your belly.
me: what? You don't have to sweetie. That part is over with, there is no going back.
E: Mrs Norma (his preschool teacher) said I had to
me: Are you sure? what did she say?
E: Mrs. Norma said if I didn't want to die I have to be borned again.
Hilarious, right? So of course this triggered a major conversation about not literally being born again, etc. You are simply never prepared for what might come out of their mouths. Priceless.
